Capabilities

Mincka Engineering provides four core capabilities for structural and mechanical assets in mining and heavy industry: asset inspection and integrity, engineering design, independent design review and certification, and structural monitoring.

Asset Inspection & Integrity. Structural and mechanical inspection that doesn't stop at a report. We identify and risk-rate every defect, design the repair, and drive it to signed-off closure in Argus, anchored to the asset's structural digital twin.

Engineering Design. Structural and mechanical design for the assets operations depend on, from a single modification through to new plant. Every design is analysed properly and signed by a registered engineer.

Independent Design Review & Certification. Independent review and certification of third-party designs and calculations, by engineers registered in the mechanical and structural disciplines.

Structural Monitoring. Structural monitoring that instruments assets with sensors to track condition and movement, with engineering interpretation of the data. Delivered with Argus.

Methodologies

+Defect closure — every structural defect is identified, risk-rated, repaired by design, and driven to signed-off closure.
+Argus — the structural integrity platform and digital twin used to track each defect against the asset and manage it to closure.

Mincka's engineers hold registration in the mechanical and structural disciplines across multiple Australian jurisdictions, and every engagement is scoped, delivered and signed by the competent person of record.
